1,097 new Covid-19 cases, 26 deaths reported in Armenia in the past day
Armenia has confirmed 1,097 new cases of coronavirus in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 193,736 as of 11 a.m. Thursday, April 1, the Ministry of Health reports.
617 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 173,681.
The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 26 to 3,533. The figure does not include the deaths of 900 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
The number of active cases is 15,622. As many as 860,046 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
