One body found in Thursday’s search operations for Artsakh war casualties
One body was found as a result of the search operations in the Azerbaijani-held areas of Artsakh on Thursday, Artsakh's State Service of Emergency Situations said.
The body of the victim, supposed to have been a civilian, was retrieved from Avetaranots community in the upper sub-region of Askeran.
The body is yet to be identified through a forensic DNA analysis.
Since the start of the ceasefire, a total of 1,527 bodies of fallen troops and civilians have been recovered from the former combat zones.
