Former governor of Tavush province appointed Minister of High-Tech Industry
President Armen Sarkissian signed a decree on Friday to dismiss Hakob Arshakyan from the post of the Minister of High-Tech Industry. According to another presidential decree, Arshakyan was replaced by Hayk Chobanyan, former governor of Tavush province. The appointments were made at the proposal of the prime minister.
To remind, Arshakyan announced about resignation on Wednesday after the recent incident at a Yerevan cafe, where the minister was caught on camera attacking journalist Paylak Fakhradyan.
