Kremlin stresses Iskander missiles were not used during the Karabakh war
Russia's Iskander missiles were not used when tensions between Armenia and Azerbaijan escalated in Nagorno-Karabakh, this was already confirmed earlier,Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday, according to Sputnik news agency.
This came as a comment to a recent claim by Azerbaijan that a fragment of an Iskander missile was found in Karabakh.
"No, as far as I understand, this is some new information. I do not know if there was some military report, and whether our military has some detailed information about them, this is rather their prerogative," Peskov told reporters, as quoted by the source.
