Armenia’s Defense Ministry denies reports on arrival of ‘Azerbaijani-Turkish delegation’
The Armenian Defense Ministry refutes reports alleging an Azerbaijani-Turkish delegation arrived in Armenia at night.
“The reports do not correspond to reality,” the ministry said in a statement on Friday.
It urged the media to refrain from publishing unverified information, especially on sensitive issues for the public.
Earlier, Hraparak daily reported that an Azerbaijani-Turkish delegation arrived in Yerevan on a plane, which was supposed to carry Armenian POWs from Azerbaijan but reportedly landed empty at the airport on Thursday night. According to Hraparak, the delegation is set to inspect the site of a road under construction in Meghri.
