ICRC shares photos from borderline villages in Armenia affected by the war
The International Committee of the Red Cross in Armenia has published photos from brioderline villages of Armenia affected by the recent war in Nagorno-Karabakh.
"You may feel hopeless looking at these shots. In villages along the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan this is the reality on the ground. The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has made it hard, sometimes impossible to cultivate lands. There is no point in using agricultural equipment under these conditions and people often abandon it for good. Wars should not hinder civilians from using resources indispensable to survival," reads the message, accompanying the photos.
