European Parliament to hold virtual conference on Armenian captives in Azerbaijan
The European Parliament will hold a virtual conference on the fate of the Armenian captives in Azerbaijan on Monday, 12 April.
The conference is being hosted by MEP Loucas Fourlas, Chair of the EU-Armenia Friendship Group at the European Parliament.
“Honored to host this event. The issue of the Armenian captives and prisoners of war in Azerbaijan remains one of the most urgent and crucial humanitarian issues and should concern us all,” he said in a tweet.
MEP Marina Kaljurand, Chair of the Delegation for Relations with the South Caucasus, Armenia’s Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan and EAFJD Executive Director Heghine Evinyan are among the speakers.
