Ex-army chief: The truth can be revealed only after the change of power
The former chief of the Armenian army’s General Staff Onik Gasparyan has commented on PM Nikol Pashinyan's latest remarks made at parliament on Wednesday. "One wouldn't expect anything else from these immoral liars. I reaffirm my statement made on November 17," Gasparyan told Armlur.am news outlet.
To note, Pashinyan earlier stated that Gasparyan's advise to stop the war within 2-3 days during the September 30, 2020 Security Council meeting didn't correspond to reality.
"The RA Prime Minister and the secretary of Armenia's Security Council shamefully distort the reality and mislead the public through use of their executive leverage. The record of the Security Council sessions could be falsified and presented in a favorable way for them. The truth can be objectively revealed only after the change of power and the resignation of the acting prime minister. That would be the only option to find out the reality," Gasparyan said.
