MFA official held a meeting with the EaP Ambassadors and Special Envoys of EU Member States
The Head of the European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Tigran Samvelian conducted on Wednesday an online meeting with the EaP Ambassadors and Special Envoys of the 19 EU Member States, press service at the Foreign Ministry reported.
During the Meeting the interlocutors touched upon the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between Armenia and the EU, which has entered into force on 1 March 2021 and constitutes one of the key pillars of Armenia’s Reform Agenda, as well as the Eastern Partnership as a platform based on common values and goals.
The parties also touched upon a number of issues related to regional security and stability. Tigran Samvelian has informed his colleagues about the humanitarian situation in Artsakh, the steps that are being taken to settle it. Armenian side brought to the attention of the EU colleagues the fact of non-compliance of Azerbaijan with the interim measures of the European Court of Human Rights.
