Armenian, Russian defense ministers discuss bilateral cooperation
Armenia’s Defense Minister Vagharshak Harutyunyan on Saturday held a telephone conversation with Russian Defense Minister, General Sergey Shoigu, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported.
The defense ministers discussed the process of the Russian peacekeeping mission in Artsakh, the main directions of the ongoing large-scale reforms in the Armenian army, as well as the actions and future plans of the Armenian-Russian joint military contingent.
Regional issues were also discussed during the phone call.
