The US recognition of the Armenian Genocide is a domestic affair, Peskov says
The Kremlin believes the recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the Biden Administration is a domestic affair of the United States, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters Monday, according to TASS news agency. "This is a domestic affair [ed. of the United States]," Peskov was quoted.
To remind, Joe Biden became the first US president formally recognizing the Armenian genocide. “The American people honour all those Armenians who perished in the genocide that began 106 years ago today,” Biden said in a statement on Saturday.
