Two ARF members summoned to Investigative Committee
Two members of the opposition Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF, Dashnaktsutyun) party have been summoned to the Investigative Committee for questioning as defendants.
Sargis Karapetyan and Taron Manukyan, the son of Gegham Manukyan, are set to appear in the Yerevan Investigation Department on Monday.
Both ARF members slammed the move in public posts on Facebook.
“They knocked on our door again. This time the notice was not addressed to my father but to me. As I have repeatedly said, you are further motivating us with criminal prosecutions. The struggle continues,” Manukyan wrote.
Sargis Karapetyan called attention to the fact that they were summoned to the law enforcement agency on the day when the National Assembly is set to hold a special sitting over the prime minister’s issue.
