Report on inquiry into 2016 April war to be discussed at closed parliament sitting
The report of the ad hoc parliamentary commission on its inquiry into the 2016 April war in Artsakh will be debated at a closed sitting.
The National Assembly of Armenia adopted the decision in a vote of 71 for and one abstention on Tuesday.
Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan said the report of the commission of inquiry contains numerous state secrets, therefore it is necessary to discuss it in a closed sitting.
Armenia’s third President Serzh Sargsyan, former Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan and a group of other former senior officials took part in the sittings of the commission investigating the circumstances of the April war.
