Armenia’s caretaker FM holds phone call with Kyrgyz counterpart
Interim Foreign Minister of Armenia Ara Aivazian on Tuesday held a telephone conversation with his Kyrgyz counterpart Ruslan Kazakbaev.
Aivazian attached importance to the efforts to maintain stability and peace in the Central Asian region. He expressed hope that due to the ongoing measures it will be possible to prevent border clashes in the future. The caretaker minister expressed condolences over the casualties in the border incident and wished the wounded a speedy recovery, the Foreign Ministry reported.
During the phone call, they also discussed several issues related to the bilateral agenda, which had been voiced during the April 2 meeting within the framework of the CIS ministerial session.
