
Armenia’s daily coronavirus cases rise by 411 on May 8
Armenia has confirmed 411 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 219,092 as of 11 a.m. Saturday, May 8, the Ministry of Health reports.
814 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 204,121.
The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 16 to 4,225. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,038 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 9,708 active cases. As many as 1,012,538 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
