
Armenia's coronavirus tally reaches 219,950 on May 12
Armenia has confirmed 354 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 219,950 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, the Ministry of Health reports.
403 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 206,078.
The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 16 to 4,272. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,050 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 8,550 active cases. As many as 1,023,251 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
