No damages reported in Armenian community in Jerusalem - Chancellor of the Armenian Patriarchate
Chancellor of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem Koryun Baghdasaryan reports that members of the local Armenian community have suffered no damage as a result of the ongoing tensions in Jerusalem and the Holy Land.
"There are no injuries, victims or displaced people in the community. No atmosphere of panic and fear observed in Armenian districts, and the only concern is about the ongoing tensions," Baghdasaryan wrote on his Facebook page.
In his words, the regular services have been held at the Church in the past days, while the classes at educational institutions never interrupted. All departments of the Armenian Patriarchate also continue their work. The Chancellor expressed hope that the tensions will be settled soon through negotiations.
"We extend our condolences to the family members of all victims and wish speedy recovery to all injured," Baghdasaryan concluded.
