Azerbaijan's expansionist appetite is a result of the anti-Armenian policy led by Nikol Pashinyan's regime - Armenia bloc
Political bloc 'Armenia' (Hayastan) comprising of ARF Dashnaktsutyun and Reviving Armenia party, led by ex-president Robert Kocharyan issued a statement on Friday regarding the Azerbaijani aggression and the violation of the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia.
"Making use of the so-called peaceful policy of Armenia's leadership, its criminal inaction, and permissiveness, Azerbaijan has violated the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia. The expansionist appetite of Azerbaijan has grown exclusively as a result of anti-Armenian policy led by Nikol Pashinyan's regime," the statement issued by the political alliance said.
It notes that the invasion of Azerbaijani troops into the territory of Syunik and Gegharkunik provinces, posses serious security threats for Armenia and the situation risk to tun into a large-scale military clashes, a new war, having a potential for regional instability.
"The current leader of Armenia showed once again they are incapable to ensure the security of our citizens, the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia. No relevant actions are taken with regard to the gross violation of the international law by Azerbaijan and for the protection of our borders," it added.
The statement also calls on citizens to stay vigilant and united, not to get into panic and stay ready for any scenario.
