Armenia’s caretaker deputy FM hosts OSCE/ODIHR election observers
Acting Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Artak Apitonyan on Tuesday hosted the delegation of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ ODIHR), which will observe the snap parliamentary elections slated for June 20.
The OSCE/ODIHR election observation mission is headed by Owen Murphy, the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
During the meeting the deputy minister highly assessed the role of the OSCE/ODIHR mission in the process of observing the elections and noted with satisfaction the cooperation with the organization in the electoral processes.
Apitonyan reaffirmed Armenia's readiness to hold fair and transparent elections that meet European standards.
