Georgia reports 1,064 new COVID-19 cases
Georgia on Friday reported 1,064 new COVID-19 cases, taking its total to 335,769, according to the country's National Center for Disease Control and Public Health.
Data from the center showed that 1,135 more patients have recovered in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 316,389, Xinhua reports.
Meanwhile, 29 people have died in the past 24 hours, raising the death toll to 4,569.
The center said 25,564 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours around the country.
Georgia reported its first confirmed case on Feb. 26, 2020.
