
Armenia reports 157 fresh coronavirus cases, 8 deaths on May 25
Armenia has confirmed 157 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 222,139 as of 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, the Ministry of Health reports.
259 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 211,634.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 8 to 4,400. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,077 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 5,028 active cases. As many as 1,065,211 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
