Dutch parliament passes resolution demanding withdrawal of Azerbaijan troops from Armenia
The House of Representatives of the Dutch parliament, the States General, overwhelmingly adopted a resolution calling on the government to make efforts for the European Union to demand the immediate withdrawal of the Azerbaijani troops from Armenia, the Armenian Embassy in the Netherlands reported.
“The House, following the debates, recording that the Azerbaijani troops have invaded Armenia’s territory and aiming to prevent a possible escalation of the conflict, calls on the government to induce the [European] Council to join French President Macron's demand that Azerbaijan withdraw its troops immediately.
"And proceeds to the issues on the agenda,” the resolution said.
