Authorities have failed to deliver on any of their promises - Robert Kocharyan
"These authorities have not delivered on a single promise. There is nothing the authorities could illustrate as something they have achieved," Armenia's ex-president Robert Kocharyan said at a meeting with active members of "Armenia" pre-election bloc in Armavir province.
Kocharyan stressed that there are no people in the ruling force who enjoy a good reputation in their cities, neighborhoods and streets. "People who were reconciled to the idea of being a backpack are unable to assure citizens that the fate of the state is in reliable hands. I do not think they may have any prospects for this," the ex-president stressed, pointing also to the disastrous consequences of the 2020 war.
"Nothing is sacred to these people. They have no issue with lying, lack conscience, wisdom and patriotism. They are unfit to take any role in the leadership. However, there are still some people among our brothers and sisters who are misled snd believe in them. The most difficult task for us will be to try to persuade those people and bring them to reality. That would be hard, as they enthusiastically participated in the changes back in 2018 and are unable or do not want today to accept that those changes brought the country to disastrous consequences," said Kocharyan.
Addressing the participants of the meeting, Kocharyan said: "These are some of the common tasks ahead of us. We hope you are the new who will help us in our future work. I see decisiveness in your eyes and a desire for change. Be assured, everything will be well," Said Kocharyan.
