"Iran is an important neighbor and partner for and remains an important actor in the regional stability and security architecture," Armenia's acting FM Ara Aivazian has told an interview with Iranian media outlets.
"We are committed to exerts efforts to develop bilateral and multisectoral cooperation with Iran, and first of all expand the interstate cooperation through a political dialogued," Aivazian added.
Tounching upon the recent tensions on the border of Armenia, the acting FM said Armenia is committed to resolve the issue through diplomatic means. "We highly value that in these difficult days and circumstances the Foreign Minister of our century-long friendly and neighbouring country Iran is paying a regional visit and has arrived in Yerevan which speaks of Iran's unbiased intention to strenghten the stability and peace in the region."
