
Armenia’s daily coronavirus cases rise by 140 on May 27
Armenia has confirmed 140 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 222,409 as of 11 a.m. Thursday, May 27, the Ministry of Health reports.
308 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 212,265.
The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 5 to 4,416. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,079 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 4,649 active cases. As many as 1,072,615 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
