Robert Kocharyan: I have no many expectations from CSTO
"I have no many expectations from the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO). I state this publicly," Armenia's ex-president Robert Kocharyan told an exclusive interview with Russian RBK TV Channel.
As Kocharyan detailed, the Armenian authorities have done their utmost over the past years to drive a wedge between Armenia and CSTO, and the matter refers to specifically the criminal prosecution launched against the former Secretary General of the organisation Yuri Khachaturov.
"Azerbaijan enjoys friendly relations with all members of the security bloc. Russia in this respect has a unique position. Decisions within the organisation are adopted through consensus," Kocharyan said.
During the interview with Ilya Doronov, Kocharyan also spoke about Armenia's inter-political developments, foreign policy, regional security and other urgent topics the country faces.
