Armenia reports 72 new COVID-19 cases on June 4
Armenia has confirmed 72 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 223,050 as of 11 a.m. Friday, June 4, the Ministry of Health reports.
246 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 214,059.
The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 4 to 4,452. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,088 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 3,451 active cases. As many as 1,096,581 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
