Armenia, Georgia to resume railway communication from June 15
Yerevan-Batumi-Tbilisi train will resume operation from June 15, Georgia's Economy Minister Natia Turnava said on Monday after the cabinet session, Georgian media reported.
"Starting from June 15, the first train in the direction of Yerevan-Tbilisi-Batumi will arrive which means tourists from our partner and neighboring countries will traditionally arrive for vacations in the Black See resorts, the capital city and other tourist attractions," Turnava said.
\The minister added, that after the opening of the land border on June 1, growth of visitors from neighboring countries is observed.
