Artur Vanetsyan was the only politician who visited Artsakh and sent a clear message to the world and all Armenians - Khachik Galstyan
"Over the past three days of the election campaign in Armenia the representatives of "The Salute of Honour and Respect" bloc led by Artur Vanetsyan have been in different provinces - Gegharkunik, Tavush, Aragatsotn, Arararat. The campaign continues today in the southern border areas of Armenia," member of the "Homeland" party board Khachik Galstyan told reporters at a briefing on Thursday, summing up the campaign activities of the past days.
Galstyan noted that besides the regional tours, the bloc members are also actively campaigning in Yerevan, holding meetings in different neighborhoods and organizing round-table discussions of various formats.
"The election campaign is carried out with restraint and within civility which cannot be said about the campaign run by the ruling force. The authorities resorted to hate speech from the first day of the election campaign, crossing the dangerous path leading to civil clashes. In fact, Nikol Pashinyan has nothing to offer to our public and his appeals for civil vendetta can be considered exhausted as the most and insightful part of our society is tired of the lies and fallacy our country has occurred in," said Galstyan.
Speaking of the Artsakh issue and the prospects of the conflict settlement, Galstyan said that out of 26 political forces running for the elections, Artur Vanetsyan was the only candidate for the PM post who visited Artsakh.
"With his visit, Vanetsyan sent a clear message to the world and all Armenians that the issue of Artsakh is not closed for our bloc, and we will never let our compatriots alone. The Artsakh conflict settlement is reflected in our election programme, covering the among other things the security component and the raising the defense capacities," the representatives of "The Salute of Honour and Respect" bloc stressed.
