The Centrist Democrat International (CDI), which is one of the largest international political groups, has expressed its support to the Republic Party of Armenia (RPA) in the upcoming parliamentary elections, "The Salute of Honour and Respect" pre-election bloc reported. 

"In this challenging time of ongoing pandemic, aggravated by the tense post-war political situation in the country, it is fundamental to guarantee political stability, to strengthen rule of law and to ensure the independence of the judicial system. We are confident that RPA one of the main political forces in the country , has the expertise to fulfill all these goals with the will and capacity to reestablish and provide welfare for the Armenian people," the statement issued by the international political group read. 

It is noted that RPA will greatly contribute to promote international cooperation and dialogue which are crucial to reinforce security in the region. 

"CDI wishes good luck to the RPA and expects the election process to be conducted freely and fairly, in line with international standards, as the only means to develop a truly democratic society," the message said, adding the group will closely monitor the upcoming elections.
