Armenia reports 96 fresh COVID-19 cases on June 17
Armenia has confirmed 99 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 224,000 as of 11 a.m. Thursday, June 17, the Ministry of Health reports.
122 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 215,655.
The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 1 to 4,491. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,094 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 2,760 active cases. As many as 1,138,719 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
