I’m Honored bloc members visit Armenia’s Shirak Province
Members of the I’m Honored bloc formed by the opposition Homeland Party and the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) on Thursday held election campaign rallies in Armenia’s Shirak Province.
Led by Artur Vanetsyan, who tops the electoral list of the alliance, and RPA Chairman, third President Serzh Sargsyan, they held meetings with residents in Gyumri, the bloc said in a Facebook post.
Before the start of the election campaign, Serzh Sargsyan and Artur Vanetsyan visited Yot Verk (Seven Wounds) Church in Gyumri with their teammates, lit candles and prayed for peace in Armenia and Artsakh, the dignified future of the Armenian people and the speedy return of Armenian prisoners of war.
After lighting candles, the bloc members visited the Pantheon of Freedom Fighters in the Shirak cemetery and laid a wreath at the memorial to pay tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for the homeland.
