Turnout in early parliamentary polls in Armenia stands at 12.2% as of 11am— CEC
The voter turnout at June 20 snap parliamentary elections in Armenia is 12.2%, the deputy chairman of Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission (CEC) Laura Galstyan stated, presenting the data received from electoral districts throughout Armenia. In her words, 316,291 voters out of total 2,593,572 eligible voters took part in the polls as of 11am.
According to the released data by the CEC official, voters are more active in southern Syunik province, where 17.269 people have voted out of 109.726 eligible voters accounting for 15.74% of the total number of voters.
