Three more bodies found during search operations, Artsakh emergency service says
Three more bodies were found during the search operations in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) on Monday, June 21, the State Service of Emergency Situations of Artsakh Republic reported.
The remains were retrieved from Varanda (Fizuli) region. According to preliminary data, they were participants in the 44-day war. The remains will be transported to Armenia and identified through a forensic DNA analysis.
To note, since the end of the 2020 Artsakh war, a total of 1,583 bodies of fallen soldiers and civilians have been found during the search operations.
