Armen Sarkissian holds phone call with Artur Vanetsyan
Armenian President Armen Sarkissian on Tuesday held a phone call with Artur Vanetsyan, the leader of the I’m Honored (Pativ Unem) bloc.
The president congratulated the alliance for winning parliament seats as a result of Sunday’s snap elections and wished them productive work for the benefit of Armenia, Sarkissian’s office said.
I’m Honored will have parliament seats despite failing to overcome a 7% vote threshold because under the Armenian law at least three political forces must be represented in the National Assembly.
