Armenia reports 100 new COVID-19 cases on June 23
Armenia has confirmed 100 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 224,430 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, the Ministry of Health reports. 48 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 216,230.
The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 1 to 4,503. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,096 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 2,601 active cases. As many as 1,160,290 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
