The Constitutional Court to resume hearing election appeals tomorrow
The Constitutional Court of Armenia will continue the hearing the appeals of four political forces challenging the results of the June 20 snap parliamentary elections on Saturday, July 10.
The court proceedings will start with the presentation of the appeal by Aram Vardevandyan, who represents "Armenia" opposition bloc.
During today's hearing, Judge Vahe Grigoryan stated that the term for making decisions on the case expires in 8 days and asked Vardevanyan to present the appeal consicely. The Court also decided on the procedure of studying the election appeals during today's hearing.
To remind, separate appeals have been lodged by the opposition "Armenia" bloc, I’m Honored bloc, Zartonk (Awakening) National Christian Party and Hayots Hayrenik (Armenian Homeland) Party, challenging the results of the June 20 snap parliamentary elections. The Court is examining all the appeals as part of one case since all concern the same issue.
