Armenian boxers leave for Tokyo Olympics
Armenian boxers Koryun Soghomnyan, Hovhannes Bachkov and Arman Darchinyan, who have been qualified for the Tokyo Olympics, departed for the Japanese capital on a Yerevan-Vienna-Tokyo flight on Sunday night.
They were led by the second coach of the national boxing team, Robert Petrosyan, and coach Karen Ghazaryan.
Hovhannes Bachkov (63 kg) is set to enter the competition first, the Armenian Boxing Federation reports.
His first match is scheduled for July 25, while Koryun Soghomonyan and Arman Darchinyan will play their first matches on July 26.
