Members of Armenia’s new parliament named
A protocol on the registration of new MPs and the distribution of mandates among the political forces was signed at an extraordinary meeting of Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission (CEC) on Thursday.
The Civil Contract Party will hold 71 parliament seats, while the opposition Armenia bloc and I’m Honored bloc – 29 and 7 seats, respectively.
CEC Chairman Tigran Mukuchyan said as a result of the June 20 snap parliamentary elections, the following candidates get parliamentary mandates:
