Expert: No information about two missing Armenian soldiers for 12 days already
The military-political leadership of Armenia has provided no information about the two Armenian soldiers, who went missing from the Sotk-Khoznavar section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, for 12 days already, security expert Tigran Abrahamyan said on Monday.
“For 12 days already, the military-political leadership of the country has provided no information about the 2 Armenian servicemen, who went missing from the Sotk-Khoznavar section of the border, in the Black Lake area, in yet unknown circumstances,” he wrote on Facebook.
“I would not like to speak about what dangerous signals it now sends to the people about the situation in certain sections of the border and in the military. Although everything is pretty clear without it,” said Abrahamyan, who heads the analytical center Henaket.
“Those people think that by elaborating and adopting concepts or cutting the military service period, they will manage to create an imitation of reforms.
“In fact, there is zero process here just like in other systems,” he added.
