Artur Vanetsyan calls for establishment of permanent parliamentary committee on Artsakh
Opposition I’m Honored bloc leader Artur Vanetsyan calls for the establishment of a permanent parliamentary committee to deal with Artsakh issues.
“Taking into account the situation around Artsakh in the post-election period, many new problems and challenges facing Artsakh, including security, social, cultural and economic ones, I think a permanent committee on Artsakh should be set up among the other standing committees of the National Assembly,” he wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.
“The I’m Honored bloc plans to come up with such a proposal at the first parliament sitting with further substantiations,” Vanetsyan said.
The first sitting of Armenia’s new parliament is scheduled for August 2. The I’m Honored bloc is represented in the National Assembly by 7 MPs.
