Ambassadors spend weekend visiting Armenia’s sights
Ambassador of the Netherlands to Armenia Nico Schermers went on a hike to Tavush Province with his family on Sunday.
“After a hectic week Sunday hike to Dimaz Ler and Hagatsin Monastery in Tavush region with family, fantastic views!” he tweeted, sharing several photos.

Meanwhile, UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia Shombi Sharp visited Noravank Monastery with his wife, U.S. Ambassador Lynne Tracy and USAID Director John Allelo.
“We enjoyed a wonderful recent trip to the 13th century Noravank monastery and the surrounding wine region in Vayots Dzor with good friends Ambassador Lynne Tracy and USAID Director John Allelo. Home to the famous Areni-1 cave and ancient winemaking, a local tasting is also not to be missed. My first at Old Bridge exceeded high expectations. All truly gorgeous and worth a visit!” Sharp wrote on Facebook, sharing his travel photos.
