
Armenia reports 137 new COVID-19 cases on August 2
Armenia has confirmed 137 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 230,476 as of 11 a.m. Monday, August 2, the Ministry of Health reports.
147 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 220,133.
The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 2 to 4,621. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,122 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 4,600 active cases. As many as 1,350,559 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
