
Armenia reports 280 new COVID-19 cases on August 4
Armenia has confirmed 280 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 230,993 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, the Ministry of Health reports.
149 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 220,438.
The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 4 to 4,625. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,122 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 4,808 active cases. As many as 1,364,854 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
