Lawmaker from "I have Honour" faction, security expert Tigran Abrahamyan, who had previously served as advisor to Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan, has raised number of questions, concerning the future cooperation between Armenia and Artsakh. 

"A provision of the pre-election program of the ruling force concerning Artsakh says: "The post-war recovery of Artsakh, activation of the economic life, addressing the social issues of the displaced population, the preservation of cultural and religious heritage will be in the focus of our attention. These goals will be achieved through deepening cooperation with Artsakh authorities as well as through creating 'new formats' for partnership with Artsakh," Abrahamyan wrote on Facebook. 

The opposition lawmaker then pointed to inconsistency in position of the Armenian leadership, which had once  highlighted the need for establishing new formats for cooperation with Artsakh and then voted down the opposition initiative to form a Standing Committee on Artsakh. 

"What are the plans and formats for cooperation with Artsakh? This still remains unknown. I didn't get answers to number of my questions," Abrahamyan said. 

To remind, the two opposition factions at Armenian parliament have proposed to create a Standing Committee on Artsakh with activities to be focused on the financial, political, military, diplomatic, humanitarian, social support  provided by Armenia to Artsakh and the negotiation process of the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. The ruling "Civil Contract" faction voted down the draft decision, justifying its position with the existing format of oater-parliamentary cooperation.
