Armenia confirmed 397 new Covid-19 cases, 9 deaths on August 13
Armenia has confirmed 397 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 233,797 as of 11 a.m. Friday, August 13, the Ministry of Health reports.
264 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 222,183.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 9 to 4,678. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,129 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 5,805 active cases. As many as 1,421,593 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
