ICRC joins efforts to supply Stepanakert residents with clean drinking water
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Nagorno-Karabakh mission has joined efforts to supply drinking water to residents of the Artsakh capital Stepanakert who have been deprived of clean drinking water for the past weeks.
As the Mayor's office of Stepanakert reported, with the support of ICRC water tanks are being placed in the yards of the residential buildings which suffer from water shortage. The representatives of the Mayor's office have toured the city and recorded that not only residents but businesses had also suffered from water shortage. In particular, the car wash services across the city do not operate.
The city authorities thank all those who are sympathetic and understand the water supply restrictions and are ready to join efforts to overcome the difficulties Stepanakert residents experience.
