Armenia confirmed 357 new Covid-19 cases, 13 deaths on August 17
Armenia has confirmed 357 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 235,171 as of 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 17, the Ministry of Health reports.
269 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 223,070.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 11 to 4,713. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,138 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 6,250 active cases. As many as 1,446,731 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
