Armenia confirmed 504 new Covid-19 cases, 4 deaths on August 18
Armenia has confirmed 504 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 235,675 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 18, the Ministry of Health reports.
157 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 223,227.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 4 to 4,716. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,139 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 6,593 active cases. As many as 1,453,950 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
