Tigran Abrahamyan: Azerbaijan chose a predicted scenario to move forward
Opposition lawmaker Tigran Abrahamyan commented on the recent developments around Goris-Kapan interstate road in Armenia blocked by Azerbaijani servicemen since Wednesday evening.
"Azerbaijan has confirmed that one of its servicemen has been found and detained in one of residential houses in Artsakh's Martakert town. At the same time, it threatens to conduct what it called 'an anti-terrorism operation' if its serviceman is not returned. It is obvious that all the provocations happened in Martakert town, Mkhitarashen village of Shushi and on interstate road from Goris to Kapan are linked and are in line with Azerbaijani plan for destabilization," Abrahamyan wrote on his Facebook page.
Abrahamyan reminded about the recent sporadic shooting toward Mkhitarashen village from the Azerbaijani side as a result of which one of the houses was damaged.
"In short, Azerbaijan has chosen an expected scenario to move forward, while Armenian authorities are busy with personalrevenge and issues of narrow personal interests," added Abrahamyan.
